School items will be tax exempt during sales tax holiday
The Florida Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday runs from Monday, July 29, through Sunday, Aug. 11. Qualifying items will be exempt from tax, which include:
- Certain school supplies selling for $50 or less per item
- Clothing, footwear and certain accessories selling for $100 or less per item
- Personal computers and certain computer-related accessories selling for $1,500 or less (when purchased for noncommercial home or personal use)
