MIAMI — A former Olympian turned leading passive wealth strategist and a top commercial real estate executive from New York are just two of the many industry experts who will present at the 11th annual MIAMI Association of Realtors (MIAMI Commercial) Midyear Conference on April 28 at Jungle Island.

2023 Midyear Conference speakers include: LaVonne Idlette, a retired Olympic track athlete and The Amazing Race Season 32 contestant who is now a leading passive wealth strategist. She works with numerous NFL, NBA, Olympic athletes as well as other ultra-high-net-worth individuals to reach their life long passive income and legacy goals.

 

Idlette will speak on the Capital, Due Diligence, Management and More panel with moderator and 2023 MIAMI Commercial Governor Tamika Moses; Sara Barli Herald, partner at Bilzin Sumberg, Homestead Vice Mayor Julio Guzman and NAI Miami/Fort Lauderdale partner Tim Merriman.

 

Lonnie Hendry, senior vice president of commercial real estate and advisory with Trepp, Inc. in New York, will present about the Real Impact of Commercial Debt Maturities. Trepp tracks commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and government-sponsored enterprise (GSE) loans and will address what these maturities mean for South Florida investors.
