The Community Grants program supports cultural programs, projects and events, such as fairs, parades and neighborhood festivals. The program funds arts projects with strong community involvement and/or outreach component and is particularly sensitive to the needs of indigenous cultural neighborhood activities and projects encouraging the preservation of heritage, traditions and culture, as well as social service organizations and cultural groups developing collaborative intervention projects using the arts.

The Tourist Development Council grants program provides support to nonprofit and for-profit organizations presenting significant cultural or special events, including sports activities and television and film origination projects that promote Miami-Dade County’s appeal as a tourist destination.

Funding Arts Network Grant Workshop

FUNDING FOR INDIVIDUAL ARTISTS
North Bay Village – Art In Public Places

Submission should include:
5 samples of completed work, CV and brief artist statement of how vision aligns with North Bay Village brand and vision
Eligibility: Open to professional visual artists or artist-led teams. Eligible artists create artwork on a regular basis for a duration of time.

North Bay Village’s Island Walk is a pedestrian promenade that will ultimately connect the village’s multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use properties along the rear of the parcels; it is designed to provide residents and visitors with scenic views of Biscayne Bay in a recreational and artistic setting. Island Walk segments are located primarily along the northern boundaries of Treasure Island, along the South Plaza on Treasure Island (where this project will be located), and at key locations on Harbor Island.
