Why:                    The City of West Palm Beach has hosted the award-winning weekly concert series — Clematis by Night — nearly every Thursday from 6 – 9 p.m. on the West Palm Beach Intracoastal for close to three decades. Admission is free, and the City recommends concertgoers bring chairs and blankets.

Jimmy Buffett was a singer/songwriter for over five decades, who died at 76 years old on September 1, 2023. His songs captured his life experiences — the people, places, and stories he encountered- resulting in a loyal fan base, often called “parrot heads.” As a long-time part-time resident of Palm Beach County, he was involved in the community, frequently participating in many charity fundraisers, and a cruise ship branded with his song “Margaritaville,” departs from Palm Beach County.
