Amidst the 41 Florida counties recognized, $1.5 million has been allocated to assist the City of Homestead, the Redlands, and Florida City. The grant awards will provide fiber to the home (FTTH) services of nearly 800 underserved residents in the 40th District. Additionally, 10 businesses/institutions within Miami-Dade County will benefit by receiving download and upload speeds of 1 Gbps or higher.
