Kids can stay active at an after-school program
Kids, ages 6-14, can be active during the school year with Miami Dade Parks’ Fit2Play and after-school programs from The Children’s Trust (TCT). Therapeutic Recreation and Inclusion programs are also available.
Fit2Play is a nationally-acclaimed program that incorporates exercise, nutrition and health education into fun and engaging group activities like obstacle courses and nutrition relay races.
These programs run from Aug. 14, 2025, through June 4, 2026, at different park locations throughout Miami-Dade County. These programs are also open for One-Day Camps, Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break and Spring Break, except for legal holidays.
There’s a $15 non-refundable registration fee for all sites, including TCT locations. Fit2Play programs have a weekly fee of $35. Children’s Trust-funded programs are free, but there’s a $15 non-refundable registration fee.
Registration for all programs is open online in Park Link. There is no deadline to register, but each programming site does have a registration capacity.
