Community associations must renew with RER’s registry by Feb. 2026
Condominium associations, cooperative associations, and homeowners’ associations (HOAs) have until Feb. 1, 2026, to comply with the Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources (RER), Consumer and Neighborhood Protection Division’s requirement to register their association. Associations must renew or submit their entry into the registry by this deadline to comply with Miami-Dade County’s Ordinance for the Registration of Community Associations.
The ordinance applies to associations located within both incorporated and unincorporated Miami-Dade County. The online registry assures that RER can provide an easily accessible and centralized registry of information and copies of certain documents such associations are required to maintain under Florida Statutes.
Associations that haven’t registered yet must do so, and those already registered must renew their registration.
