1)The Pearl-Qatar= (Arabic: اللؤلؤة قطر, romanized: alluluat qatar) in Doha, Qatar, is an artificial island spanning nearly four square kilometers. It is the first land in Qatar to be available for freehold ownership by foreign nationals.As of 2018, there are 27,000 residents.
2)Willingdon Island, Kochi
A man-made island is surrounded by beautiful backwaters; the Willingdon Island is an engineering marvel. Named after the Viceroy who commissioned its construction, Lord Willingdon, the island is well connected to the mainland by the Venduruthy Bridge.
3) Amwaj Islands
Amwaj Islands is the first and one of the most sough-after freeholds areas in Bahrain. This means that non-Bahraini citizens have the right to purchase and own properties in Amwaj Islands. Because of this, it has established itself over the years as a popular spot to live, visit and invest in.
4) Venetian Islands are a chain of artificial islands in Biscayne Bay in the cities of Miami and Miami Beach, Florida. The islands are, from west to east: Biscayne Island (Miami), San Marco Island (Miami), San Marino Island (Miami Beach), Di Lido Island (Miami Beach), Rivo Alto Island (Miami Beach), and Belle Isle (Miami Beach). Flagler Monument Island remains an uninhabited picnic island, originally built in 1920 as a memorial to railroad pioneer Henry Flagler. The islands are connected by bridges from the Miami mainland to Miami Beach.
5)Hulhumale Island
Although it is not the first time an artificial island made its way into existence, the island of Hulhumale is unique in that although it was designed to extend the boundaries of Malé, it’s retained its natural charm.
6)Pebelholm Island
The island is entirely built of dredged materials from the Sound. The island is located south of the island Saltholm, and Peberholm has remained largely untouched since its establishment, since it was left without any landscaping, seeding or planting.
7) Spiral island

The first Spiral island was located in a lagoon near Puerto Aventuras, on the Caribbean coast of Mexico south of Cancún; Richart Sowa began constructing it in 1998
8)Wilhelmstein is an artificial island with an area of 12,500 square metres in lake Steinhuder Meer, located in the Hanover Region, Northern Germany. The island was created in the 18th century as a fortification by Count William of Schaumburg-Lippe, ruler of this small German state.
9)Palm Jumeirah
The tree-shaped Palm Jumeirah island is known for glitzy hotapartment towers and upmarket global restaurants. Food trucks offering snacks like shawarma dot the Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk, popular for its views of the Dubai coastline and the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab hotel. Beach clubs with spas and infinity pools turn into boisterous nightclubs with live DJs in the evening.
